Executive Proclamation Revoking Suspension of Entry of Immigrant Visa Ban Effective Immediately

Effective immediately President Biden revoked the previous ban on certain immigrant entries. The nonimmigrant ban affecting certain H1B, H3B, L1, and J1 visas remain in effect and is set to expire March 31. US Consulates are immediately allowed to resume processing immigrant visas.  Delays are still expected due to COVID public health bans in Brazil, China, Iran, Ireland, the Schengen Area, South Africa or the United Kingdom, COVID related backlogs and delays in appointment scheduling and processing.
